Descrizione del lavoro
Opportunity overview
This is a flexible, project-based contract role for professionals with solid experience in renewable energy and environmental markets. The work supports AI research by turning real-world expertise into structured analytical outputs for the energy sector. It is meant to fit alongside an existing job or other commitments rather than function like a conventional full-time position.
What you will do
- Use your domain knowledge to independently complete real analytical deliverables, including renewable generation performance reports, forecasting models, and REC verification records, in a structured project format.
- Work with tools such as WREGIS and AVEVA PI in the same way you would in your regular professional setting.
- Produce expert-quality outputs that can be used to train AI systems for energy industry use cases.
- Work on your own timeline, with no fixed schedule or minimum weekly hour commitment.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of professional experience in renewable energy generation, forecasting, or environmental markets.
- Background in one or more roles such as Renewable Generation Performance Analyst, Renewable Asset Forecasting Analyst, or REC/Environmental Markets Analyst.
- Ability to work independently with WREGIS and AVEVA PI.
- Practical experience with renewable generation forecasting, performance reporting, REC verification, and retirement workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree or a higher qualification is required.
- Strong written communication skills, careful attention to detail, and the ability to stay productive in a remote, asynchronous work setting.
Additional information
This is an ongoing opportunity that can be taken on alongside current professional work. The role is remote and does not require a fixed work schedule.
