Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site recruiting position in Patna. The person in this role will own the hiring process from start to finish, including candidate sourcing, resume screening, first-round interviews, and interview coordination with hiring managers. The recruiter will also develop and maintain a talent pipeline for sales, operations, warehousing, and corporate roles, revise job descriptions, and publish openings on appropriate channels. In addition, the role involves working closely with leadership to understand hiring requirements, supporting a strong candidate experience, assisting with onboarding, maintaining recruitment reports, tracking hiring data, and contributing to employer branding efforts aligned with Home Square’s culture and values.
Responsibilities
- Handle the complete recruitment cycle, from sourcing candidates through to selection and coordination.
- Screen applications and shortlist profiles based on role requirements.
- Conduct preliminary interviews and assess candidate suitability.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and other stakeholders.
- Build and nurture a steady talent pool for sales, operations, warehousing, and corporate functions.
- Review, update, and refine job descriptions as needed.
- Publish vacancies on relevant hiring platforms and channels.
- Partner with leadership to understand current and upcoming staffing needs.
- Support onboarding activities and help ensure a smooth joining experience.
- Maintain recruitment dashboards, reports, and hiring metrics.
- Contribute to employer branding initiatives that represent the company’s culture and values.
Requirements
- Prior exposure to recruitment, talent acquisition, and candidate sourcing across different job types.
- Ability to run structured interviews and manage an end-to-end hiring workflow.
- Strong verbal and written communication, along with good interpersonal skills.
- Comfort working with applicant tracking systems, job boards, and professional networking tools.
- Good organization and time management to handle multiple openings and deadlines.
- Awareness of core HR practices, basic labor laws, and ethical hiring principles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Experience in retail, manufacturing, building materials, or interior design is beneficial.
- Ability to communicate in English and local languages with candidates from varied backgrounds.
