About the Role
The Recruiter will drive hiring efforts for both corporate teams and field operations, focusing on attracting, engaging, and selecting strong talent. In addition to filling open positions, this role partners with leaders on hiring strategy and helps ensure every candidate has an experience that reflects the company’s standards and values.
This role reports to the Lead Recruiter and may support recruitment across several departments depending on business needs. Candidates must live in the Houston area and be available to attend onsite interviews and other key hiring activities.
What You'll Do
- Maintain regular communication with hiring managers, including weekly check-ins to review open positions, candidate flow, and hiring priorities.
- Create and carry out focused employer branding and outreach plans to connect with both actively searching and passive candidates through multiple channels.
- Manage end-to-end recruiting for important roles across the organization, including corporate and field positions.
- Prioritize candidate quality, emphasizing fit, job readiness, and long-term potential rather than simply volume.
- Coordinate and support onsite interviews while delivering a polished and welcoming experience for candidates and interviewers.
- Bring a consistently positive attitude and remain adaptable, especially in a department that is evolving.
- Support change adoption by adjusting quickly to new workflows, tools, and priorities in a professional and upbeat way.
- Encourage use of recruiting systems, processes, and tools with a practical, solutions-focused approach.
- Develop trusted relationships with hiring managers by sharing market insights, candidate pipeline updates, and hiring guidance.
Requirements
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a closely related discipline preferred. The role calls for at least 5 years of recruiting experience, ideally in a growing or changing organization, and experience hiring for a combination of corporate and/or field roles is preferred.
Strong interpersonal presence is important, including emotional intelligence, clear communication, persuasion, and an approachable style. Candidates should also bring solid organizational ability, time management, and a team-oriented mindset with the flexibility to shift priorities as needed.
Experience working with ATS platforms, preferably Workable, and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter is expected. A working understanding of recruiting metrics is also needed, along with strong computer proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
