Role Overview

This position supports the day-to-day running of recreational facilities for the NYU Project. The role focuses on keeping activity spaces, sports areas, and recreation equipment clean, safe, orderly, and prepared for use.

The assistant helps users, supports bookings and activities, checks facility readiness, flags issues, and contributes to a positive service experience while following client expectations, safety rules, and company procedures.

Recreation Facility Operations

  • Assist in the daily running of recreation zones, sports courts, fitness areas, activity rooms, and any other assigned spaces.
  • Keep all recreation areas tidy, safe, organized, and ready for scheduled sessions and general use.
  • Help with opening and closing routines, setup tasks, readiness inspections, and basic operational checks.
  • Observe usage of the facilities and ensure visitors follow site regulations, safety instructions, booking processes, and operating standards.

Customer Service and User Assistance

  • Greet and support students, staff, residents, visitors, and other facility users in a courteous, service-minded way.
