Role overview
This position supports business growth and profitability by delivering dependable warranty service while keeping operational risk under control. The role is focused on product quality, warranty investigation, remanufacturing support, and assisting the senior technical officer with product assessment, testing, and development work. You’ll need to complete tasks promptly and in line with service commitments, while keeping both internal and external customers front of mind.

Key duties
- Support the team in meeting quality objectives.
- Help deliver service that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
- Look into product quality concerns and work toward resolution.
- Share feedback quickly and support corrective action follow-up.
- Keep records and documentation accurate and current.
- Check that equipment is safe to use and functioning properly.
- Maintain a tidy, organised work environment.
- Verify that parts are available before build activities begin.
- Carry out remanufacturing work according to procedure.
- Complete final checks on assembled or remanufactured builds.
- Spot and report defects, failures, or other non-conformance issues.
- Look after remanufacturing tools/equipment and related records.
- Prepare and test product samples when required.
- Assess new products to confirm they meet required specifications.
- Review warranty information to identify patterns and recurring issues.
- Inspect warranty claims and evaluate them appropriately.
- Investigate root causes and prepare claim documentation/reports.
- Return parts to suppliers when further examination is needed.
About you
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, practical, and comfortable working in a hands-on technical environment. A positive attitude, initiative, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to solve problems are all important. You should also be able to work well across teams and at different levels of the organisation, while setting a strong example and reflecting company values through genuine service.
