About the Role
LIXIL is seeking a dynamic Product Manager to lead the category strategy for the GLP (Global Luxury Products) segment across India, Middle East, and Africa (IMEA). This role, based in the United Arab Emirates, involves driving product lifecycle management, market analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve revenue and profitability targets. You will be responsible for developing long-term strategic plans, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring seamless product distribution and market presence.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the category strategy for GLP, aligning with LIXIL and IMEA business objectives.
- Conduct thorough market trend analysis, customer needs assessment, and competitor activity monitoring to uncover growth avenues.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle, from new product introductions and innovations to discontinuations.
- Formulate 3-year and 5-year strategic plans and define a clear product roadmap.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key distributors to ensure product quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to devise and implement impactful promotional campaigns and strategies.
- Ensure category performance meets established revenue and profitability targets through customized sales plans.
- Perform regular market assessments, including customer segmentation, pricing strategy development, and competitive benchmarking.
- Leverage data-driven insights to inform decision-making and propel category growth.
- Oversee inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels, preventing both overstocking and stockouts.
- Coordinate with supply chain departments to guarantee efficient distribution and consistent product availability.
- Develop planograms in conjunction with the Retail & Showroom team for various partner tiers (A, B, and C).
- Engage with internal departments to facilitate the successful launch of new products.
- Ensure all category-related operations adhere strictly to local regulations and company policies.
- Champion sustainability initiatives within the product category, in alignment with overarching company goals.
Qualifications
- Possess 5-8 years of professional experience in a product-focused industry, with a preference for experience in building materials.
- Have accumulated over 5 years of dedicated experience in Product Management.
- Demonstrate fluency in English.
- Exhibit strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Show an ability to adapt swiftly to evolving market conditions and changing customer requirements.
- Maintain robust commercial knowledge and a strong business acumen.
Additional Information
This is a full-time employee assignment with Grome Marketing (Cyprus) Ltd. The role is based in the United Arab Emirates and is not remote. The anticipated start date is July 1, 2026.
