Role Overview
CapitalSage Holdings is looking for a Procurement Analyst with strong data skills to convert procurement information into practical business insight. In this role, you will act as the analytics backbone of the procurement team, helping shape decisions through spend analysis, supplier performance monitoring, and market intelligence. Your work will support category managers in finding savings, reducing supply risks, and improving overall procurement effectiveness.
Core Responsibilities
- Examine organization-wide spend information to identify opportunities for savings and areas where efficiency can be improved.
- Create and update interactive reporting tools in Power BI, Excel, or Tableau to improve visibility into category spend and procurement performance indicators.
- Build procurement forecasts, budgeting support materials, and monthly presentations for leadership review.
- Monitor supplier performance consistently against agreed service levels.
- Perform detailed reviews of supplier quality, delivery reliability, and pricing stability.
- Use data and benchmarking insights to support contract discussions and vendor shortlisting.
- Track commodity price movement, inflation trends, and wider supply chain risks at both local and global levels.
- Share timely insights with procurement leadership to help prevent or reduce disruption to supply.
- Assist with procurement digitization efforts by spotting workflow delays and process bottlenecks.
- Support policy adherence by reviewing procurement transactions and keeping records accurate and complete.
- Serve as the main contact for audits by preparing reliable data extracts and process documents.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in procurement analytics, supply chain finance, or data analysis.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and Power Query.
- Hands-on experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or Dynamics.
- Strong data visualization ability using tools like Power BI or Tableau is an advantage.
- A highly analytical approach with the ability to turn large datasets into clear business recommendations.
