Pool Technician

Role overview

We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Pool Technician who can keep swimming pools and water features in excellent condition. This role focuses on maintaining water quality, caring for filtration and circulation equipment, and ensuring the surrounding pool area remains safe and clean.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and adjust water balance by maintaining the correct pH and chlorine levels.
• Clean and treat swimming pools and water features using appropriate chemicals and cleaning equipment.
• Check, run, and service pumps, filters, and circulation systems to keep them working properly.
• Keep the pool deck and nearby areas neat, sanitary, and safe for use.
• Carry out regular upkeep tasks and flag any defects or repair needs without delay.
• Handle pool maintenance requests quickly and work toward resolving reported issues efficiently.
• Follow all health, safety, and chemical-handling requirements at all times.
• Record completed work in the company’s internal Android-based system on a daily basis.

Qualifications and experience

The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in pool maintenance or a similar field. A 10th, 12th, or equivalent qualification is required. The role also calls for basic English communication skills in reading, writing, and speaking, along with the ability to use an Android smartphone for work updates. Familiarity with pool cleaning tools, pumps, and filtration systems is preferred. A UAE driving license will be considered an advantage.
