Role overview

This full-time, non-management position sits within Engineering & Facilities at a luxury hospitality property in Ummahat Island 1, Red Sea, Saudi Arabia. The role supports upkeep, guest service, and maintenance operations in line with brand and safety standards.

Core duties

• Handle guest repair and maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Work with guests and customers to fix maintenance-related concerns.
• Carry out preventive upkeep on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Inspect tools, equipment, and machines visually to spot issues early.
• Transport required equipment such as tools and radios.
• Locate and operate all shut-off valves for equipment when needed.
• Track maintenance inventory and request parts and supplies as required.
• Document open or unfinished service calls before changing shifts.

Safety, conduct, and service standards

• Follow company policies, safety rules, and security procedures at all times.
• Report maintenance issues, hazards, incidents, accidents, or injuries without delay.
• Complete required safety training and certifications.
• Store flammable materials correctly and securely.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance and uniform.
• Protect confidential information and company property.
• Greet guests according to service standards and respond to their needs with courtesy.
• Support guests with disabilities and show sincere appreciation to all guests.
• Work to quality expectations and uphold brand standards.
• Build positive working relationships, cooperate with teammates, and communicate clearly and respectfully.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing items up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Move across stairs, ramps, and ladders, and work in bent, twisted, crouched, or reaching positions as needed.
• Complete other duties assigned by supervisors.

Preferred qualifications

The preferred background includes a technical, trade, or vocational school credential and at least 2 years of relevant work experience. No supervisory experience is required, and no license or certification is specified.
