The Planner will manage a portfolio of tender projects from the planning side and report into the Planning Department.   • Build tender schedules at Levels 2 to 4, along with schedule narratives and progress curves that meet bid requirements.

  • Support the preparation of 4D models and/or 2D phasing plans to communicate sequencing, logistics, and phasing approaches.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to clarify milestones, scope, sequence, and construction methods.

  • Create tender programmes across design, procurement, preconstruction, construction, commissioning, and handover stages.
  • Carry out delay analysis, float-path reviews, and milestone forecasting.

Data, reporting, and commercial support

  • Keep planning databases up to date and prepare progress reports for internal and client use.
  • Provide accurate planning information to support payment applications and contract reviews.

Stakeholder coordination

  • Serve as the main contact for tender planning queries.
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to align programme information and support schedule workshops.
  • Attend mid-bid meetings and present tender schedules and related deliverables when needed.

Resource, cost, and team support

  • Apply resource loading and cash flow loading to programmes in collaboration with estimators.
  • Mentor junior planners and encourage strong planning practices.
  • Provide cover for planner duties when required, including senior tender planner responsibilities.
  • Train staff where necessary and highlight issues to relevant stakeholders, together with proposed solutions.
  • Handle any other duties connected to the position.
