Pharmacy Technician - Ennis

Overview

Uniphar Group is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for Allcare Flynns Pharmacy in Ennis, County Clare. This is a permanent role based in-store, with a weekly commitment of 40 hours across 5 days.

The pharmacy operates Monday to Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and remains closed on Sundays.

The current team includes a Retail Store Manager, a Supervising Pharmacist, one support team member, and two technicians.

Role Summary

• Work carefully and maintain strong attention to detail.
• Prepare and dispense medicines under the direction of the pharmacist in a professional and customer-focused manner.
• Monitor stock levels and place medicine orders according to store needs.
• Create blister packs and manage claim processing and follow-up.
• Assist and report to the pharmacist in a busy dispensary setting.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in a busy dispensary is helpful, though newly qualified pharmacy technicians are also encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with McLernons MPS is an advantage.
• An IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies is beneficial.
