Role overview
Honeywell is seeking a North America Payroll Supervisor to oversee payroll operations for the North America region. This position focuses on making sure payroll is processed accurately and on time, while supporting compliance with internal policies and external regulations. The role also involves guiding a team, working with multiple functions, and improving payroll processes over time.
This is a full-time onsite position based in Bangalore, India, and you will report to the Payroll Manager. The role influences payroll accuracy, operational efficiency, employee experience, and compliance outcomes for North America employees.
Key responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate payroll processing activities for employees in North America.
- Ensure payroll is delivered correctly and within deadlines in line with applicable laws and company policies.
- Work closely with HR and Finance to address payroll variances and handle employee questions.
- Drive initiatives that improve payroll workflows, efficiency, and automation.
- Maintain accurate payroll data and handle reporting needs.
Qualifications
The company is looking for candidates with at least 4 years of relevant experience in payroll processing or payroll supervision. A strong understanding of North America payroll rules, legal requirements, and operating processes is essential. Experience using payroll platforms and systems such as ADP GlobalView, Smart Compliance, or PeopleSoft is also required. The role calls for a detail-oriented professional who can manage payroll data with precision and lead a team effectively.
Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, along with experience in a multinational organization or shared services environment. Strong analytical ability, problem-solving capability, familiarity with compliance and audit expectations, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced collaborative setting are also valued.
