About the role
This position is for a meticulous Payroll Specialist who can manage payroll from start to finish. The role calls for solid hands-on experience with payroll calculation, reconciliation, and compensation and benefits administration. Strong numerical thinking, careful analysis, and advanced Excel capability are essential, along with familiarity with payroll software. The selected person will help ensure payroll is processed correctly, on schedule, and in line with company rules and Saudi labor regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Run the monthly payroll cycle accurately and within deadlines.
- Complete payroll reconciliation work, create reports, and analyze salary data.
- Work out overtime, bonuses, incentives, deductions, and end-of-service benefits.
- Support adherence to Saudi Labor Law and the Wage Protection System.
- Keep payroll files and HRIS records up to date and accurate.
- Work with HR and Finance teams to investigate and fix payroll variances.
- Prepare payroll-related reports and assist with internal and external audits.
- Handle payroll-linked government portals such as GOSI, Mudad, and Qiwa, where applicable.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, MIS, HRIS, or a similar discipline.
- At least 3 years of payroll experience.
- Practical understanding of payroll operations, compensation and benefits, and payroll reconciliation.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and Power Query.
- Experience using ERP or HRIS platforms such as SAP, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle, or comparable systems.
- Strong analytical ability, numerical accuracy, and troubleshooting skills.
- High attention to detail and comfort working with large datasets.
