Payroll Specialist

Role overview

Infinity Investment is hiring a Payroll Specialist to support the Human Resources function in Tirana. This full-time role focuses on end-to-end payroll administration, accurate salary processing, and careful handling of employee compensation data.

What you will do

• Run the monthly payroll cycle for all staff and ensure salaries are paid correctly and on time.
• Keep payroll records current, including pay, allowances, bonuses, deductions, and employee benefits.
• Check attendance, overtime, leave records, and other data that feed into payroll calculations.
• Make sure payroll practices align with local employment laws, tax rules, and social insurance obligations.
• Create payroll summaries and reconciliation reports for management and finance stakeholders.
• Work closely with HR and Finance when employee changes affect pay.
• Handle payroll-related questions from employees in a professional and timely way.
• Assist with payroll audits and inspections when required.
• Protect payroll information and employee records with strict confidentiality.

What we are looking for

• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a similar discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience handling payroll administration.
• Good understanding of payroll operations, taxation, and social security rules.
• Hands-on experience using payroll software and HRIS platforms.
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel and the wider MS Office suite.
• Sharp attention to detail along with solid analytical ability.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, plus strong organization.
• Ability to manage sensitive information discreetly and professionally.
• Knowledge of Albanian labor legislation.
