Descrizione del lavoro
About Rainforest Builder
Rainforest Builder is a leading African forest restoration business focused on bringing one million hectares of degraded land back to natural tropical forest. The organisation brings together internationally recognised scientists and foresters within a single operating model built for large-scale tropical forest recovery.
The company works with major global businesses to help them advance decarbonisation commitments. Its current work is centred on restoring the Upper Guinean Forest, one of Africa’s most depleted rainforest regions, with two active projects and a pipeline of future expansion. Each project is extensive in scale, covering 100,000 hectares or more, and is designed to run for 71+ years with measures in place to support long-term permanence. Rainforest Builder manages the full project lifecycle in-house, including project origination, carbon asset development, forestry operations, monitoring, and analytics. Its 2,500-person team works closely with local communities to deliver quality and transparency across all operations.
