Key responsibilities
- Handle client interactions professionally and efficiently by phone and in person.
- Support clients by answering queries under supervision from the team.
- Prepare document bundles and carry out legal research.
- Contribute to newsletters, articles and related content work.
- Meet time-recording expectations accurately and consistently.
- Keep communication clear and timely with both colleagues and clients.
- Deliver work to a high standard in line with firm procedures, standards and values.
- Work cooperatively within the immediate team and across the wider firm.
- Maintain CPD commitments and continue developing knowledge in the legal field.
- Take part in ongoing learning opportunities, including workshops and seminars.
Requirements
- An LLB degree or completion of a law conversion course, or currently working towards one.
- Genuine interest in Employment law.
- Ability to work well with others and contribute to a positive workplace environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
- Willingness to learn and use initiative.
- Good IT literacy.
- Some administration experience in a legal setting is desirable.
- Previous experience as a Paralegal, or in a similar role, would be an advantage.
