Role Summary

This full-time Operations Manager position is based in the Washington DC–Baltimore Area and can be performed in a remote/hybrid setup. The role is responsible for keeping daily operations running smoothly, coordinating resources, aligning workflows, and making sure project goals and contract obligations are met. The Operations Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams and project leads, maintain documentation and quality standards, and support leadership with reporting, planning, and operational improvements.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in operations management, program coordination, or project management, ideally within consulting or government contracting.
  • Practical knowledge of process improvement, workflow optimization, and quality management systems.
  • Exposure to federal acquisition, contract administration, or government procurement is a strong advantage.
  • Comfort using productivity, collaboration, project management, and reporting tools such as Microsoft Office and related platforms.
  • Strong planning, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to handle several priorities at once.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills for working with internal teams, leadership, and government clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to guide teams, encourage collaboration, and promote accountability.
