Role overview

Wesco is looking to fill a full-time Operations Administrator role right away for its warehouse team in Dubai. In this position, you will support the Operations Team with day-to-day administrative work, report generation, customer record management, and branch compliance tasks. Key duties

  • Manage inventory control activities by organizing records, preparing and refreshing reports, supporting product cycle counts, and tracking shipment dates and blocked orders.
  • Check return authorization and credit memo documents related to material returns, and examine returned goods through to their final outcome.
  • Investigate tax and freight claims and coordinate with financial services to resolve outstanding issues.
  • Handle basic accounting work, including light accounts receivable and payable tasks, preparing invoice approvals, and processing credit memos.
  • Prepare a range of operational reports, including tax, manual sales order, fleet, and security reports.
  • Support site upkeep and safety by helping with building security, equipment maintenance, supply control, compliance with the health and safety program, and monthly OSHA log maintenance.
  • Respond to internal customers and help drive corrective actions when needed.

Qualifications and experience

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • One year of experience in operations or administration is preferred.
  • One year of experience in logistics or warehouse work is preferred.
  • One year of experience in customer service or inside sales is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed.
  • Solid computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft Office, is important.
  • You should be detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Comfort working collaboratively in a team setting is expected.
