This position supports a confidential client as an office administrator in a workplace based in the Columbus, Ohio metropolitan area. The job offers a starting base pay range of $65,000 to $85,000 plus bonus, along with benefits. It is primarily office-based, with some flexibility expected to develop over time.
The role is suited to someone who thrives in a structured environment, stays on top of details, and can keep day-to-day operations moving in a fast-paced setting. You will work closely with leadership, help coordinate projects and communications, and make sure important tasks are completed without being overlooked.
Responsibilities
- Oversee general office administration and support daily business operations.
- Answer and manage calls, emails, calendars, and appointment scheduling.
- Organize and maintain customer, vendor, and project records so they stay current and easy to access.
- Assist with meetings by preparing notes, tracking action items, and following up on next steps.
- Provide support for invoices, receipts, and basic bookkeeping-related tasks.
- Help with new-hire onboarding, paperwork processing, and employee file maintenance.
- Monitor office supplies, manage subscriptions, and coordinate with vendors when needed.
- Keep internal systems, trackers, and shared documents accurate and well maintained.
Requirements
