Night Shift Hygiene Operative

Role overview

This position sits within the production hygiene team and is focused on keeping the site clean, safe, and prepared for manufacturing. The work supports both food safety and product quality by ensuring equipment and production areas meet required standards before the next run begins.

Compensation and schedule

The pay for this role is €16.20 per hour. Shifts are 8 hours long, with a 5-day schedule across 7 days, and night work is required. Weekend working may be part of the rota. The role is full-time and based on site.

Key duties

• Perform detailed cleaning of production lines and surrounding areas, including taking belts and components apart and cleaning them according to set instructions.
• Clean machine parts as well as walls, floors, ceilings, and other surfaces in line with cleaning instruction cards.
• Put cleaned lines back together so they are ready for the next production cycle.
• Work in multiple parts of the site, such as boxing, chill areas, and freezers, while following the cleaning timetable.
• Follow SOPs, safety rules, and quality requirements at all times.
• Use checklists and workflow instructions carefully and accurately.
• Take guidance from the Team Leader and cooperate with Quality and Production teams to maintain hygiene standards.
