Role Overview
Element Materials Technology is looking for a Saudi Metallurgy Technician to support metallurgical work at site and in laboratory settings. The role focuses on routine mechanical, metallurgical, failure, and corrosion testing as part of day-to-day site operations.
What You’ll Do
- Carry out standard mechanical tests such as tensile, bend, Charpy impact, hardness, and CTOD testing.
- Perform metallurgical assessments, including micro and macro examinations.
- Participate in field and site-based testing activities when required.
- Work in line with ISO 17025 quality and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with other technicians to complete tasks according to the planned schedule.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A degree or diploma in Metallurgy, or a closely related subject.
- Between 2 and 4 years of hands-on experience in a metallurgy testing laboratory.
- Working knowledge of international standards and industry codes.
- Strong report-writing ability.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- A self-driven, collaborative approach with strong organisation and teamwork skills.
