About the Company
Simtra BioPharma Solutions is a global contract development and manufacturing organization that works with pharmaceutical and biotech clients to develop and commercialize sterile injectable products. The company operates facilities in Bloomington, Indiana (US) and Halle/Westfalen (Germany), and supports a broad portfolio of delivery formats such as pre-filled syringes, liquid and lyophilized vials, diluents for reconstitution, powder-filled vials, and sterile crystallization.
Its product portfolio includes biologics, small molecules, cytotoxic products, highly potent compounds, diluents for reconstitution, and vaccines, all intended for direct administration to patients around the world. Because of the nature of these products, the organization places a strong focus on quality, compliance, and continuous improvement. Simtra operates to demanding quality and regulatory standards.
Although the core business is cGMP manufacturing, the company also provides supporting services such as formulation and development, lyophilization optimization, global regulatory support, and secondary packaging. Its teams are focused on helping customers scale, innovate, and deliver medicines that make a difference to patients worldwide.
At its sites in Halle/Westphalia and Bloomington/Indiana, the company manufactures medicines used in the treatment of different cancers and other serious, life-threatening illnesses.
