Manager - Corporate Quality Assurance

Job Purpose

This role is responsible for steering the Authority’s quality management framework so that it remains compliant with ISO 9001:2015, sustains accreditation, and supports stronger service quality, governance, and performance improvement across all departments.

Strategy

• Direct the design and enhancement of the Quality Management System (QMS), including policies, operating models, and control mechanisms, while working with the relevant units to keep it aligned with ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
• Set and endorse organization-wide quality policies that define expectations for service quality, customer satisfaction, and operational effectiveness, ensuring they meet approved standards and regulations.
• Assess the Authority’s needs against international management system standards in coordination with the relevant stakeholders, with the aim of adopting leading global practices and strengthening institutional performance.

Operations

• Oversee and administer the Quality Management System to improve service delivery and day-to-day operational practices across all departments.
• Lead the implementation of ISO 9001 requirements to preserve international accreditation through strong governance and system consistency.
• Review, approve, and track the annual quality audit plan with the Quality, Health, Safety, and Sustainability Offices to ensure thorough assessment and prompt reporting.
• Manage the planning and rollout of the unified internal audit plan for administrative systems, maintaining uniformity and compliance across all Authority sectors.
• Direct and coordinate external audits of administrative system specifications, making sure approved procedures are followed and periodic reports are submitted on time.

Product / Process Improvement

• Ensure corrective actions identified through quality audits are implemented and validated using the smart quality audit system, while also monitoring improvement opportunities that can raise performance.
• Champion quality management concepts, practices, and awareness across the Authority, keeping efforts aligned with ISO 9001 and continuous improvement goals.

Physical Working Conditions

The position includes regular field and site visits to monitor quality audits, confirm corrective-action implementation, and verify adherence to approved management systems.

Qualifications & Requirements

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration is required.
• Applicants must bring at least 12 years of relevant professional experience.
• Professional credentials such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor and Certified Quality Manager are expected.
