About the role
Silver Fern Farms in Te Aroha is seeking a capable Maintenance Electrician to join its engineering function. The position focuses on practical, day-to-day electrical upkeep, fault finding, repairs, and reliability improvements across a large industrial food processing site. You will also contribute to project work and the installation of new equipment across the plant.
Working arrangement
The maintenance team works 45 hours per week on a two-week rotating roster, Monday to Friday. Day shift runs from 5:00am to 4:00pm, while night shift runs from 2:30pm to 2:00am.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be part of a stable and progressive engineering team, helping keep electrical systems operating safely and efficiently. The role includes hands-on maintenance work, troubleshooting, reliability improvements, and supporting site equipment installations and electrical applications across the facility.

About you

A proactive attitude, sound interpersonal skills, and a hands-on approach are important for success in this role.
