Logistics & Customs Clearance Executive

Role Overview

Sensation Trading LLC is expanding its workforce and is seeking a logistics and customs clearance executive to manage shipments moving by air, land, and sea into and out of the UAE, including mainland and free zone operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the purchase team, suppliers, and freight forwarders to ensure inbound shipments arrive on schedule.
• Coordinate the transfer of goods, vehicles, and staff between mainland locations and Jebel Ali Free Zone operations.
• Partner with the sales team, customers, and forwarders to make sure outbound shipments are delivered on time.
• Coordinate with customs authorities whenever shipment clearance is required.
• Ensure incoming goods are received correctly and entered into inventory without delay.
• Maintain clear communication with internal teams and external customers throughout the logistics cycle.
• Complete monthly reconciliation of Bills of Entry and Bills of Exit and confirm that inventory balances align.
• Coordinate with the quality control team so that purchase invoices and sales invoices are processed and delivered promptly.
• Monitor statutory compliance requirements for regulated products.
• Maintain accurate shipment records, including daily movement tracking.
• Prepare MIS reports on shipment lead times for suppliers, forwarders, and customers to support ranking and process improvement.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong working knowledge of Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Practical understanding of shipment procedures is essential.
• Knowledge of modern warehouse management systems is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems is needed.
• Strong organizational ability is important for this role.
• A mindset focused on continuous improvement is expected.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills are required.

Experience and Education

The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of proven experience in supply chain management or a similar position. A logistics certification or equivalent experience is required, along with strong English communication skills.

This position requires physical presence in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
