Role overview
This opportunity is a part-time contract role that can be performed fully remotely from Australia. The work focuses on creating clear, attractive, and easy-to-use digital interfaces for continuing medical education products used by healthcare professionals. The designer will help improve both the look and the experience of these tools so they support learning and day-to-day practice in the medical field.
The position involves working with stakeholders to turn project needs into practical design outcomes, with an emphasis on usability, engagement, and visual quality.
Key deliverables
- Build interface and experience designs for web-based products created for healthcare professionals.
- Develop wireframes, interactive prototypes, and polished mockups in Figma.
- Work closely with product managers and developers to make sure design concepts are practical and aligned with overall project objectives.
- Carry out user research and usability testing to guide and validate design choices.
- Refine designs using feedback and analytics so the final product performs better for users.
Requirements
- Hands-on background in UI/UX design, ideally with web applications.
- Strong working knowledge of Figma and similar design software.
- A portfolio that clearly shows interface and experience design capability.
- Confidence working on your own in a remote, part-time setup.
- Good communication skills and a careful eye for detail.
- Prior exposure to healthcare or educational products would be advantageous.
