Role overview
A fast-growing technology-led FMCG business with an established footprint across the UK, several European markets, and parts of Asia is expanding its commercial teams. The company is hiring a large group of junior business development professionals to help build and grow customer accounts across multiple regions. This is a largely remote position with a high degree of independence and ownership.
Compensation and package
The role offers a basic salary of £24.57k, with on-target earnings of £30k or more through commission. The package also includes access to a full tech stack, bonus opportunities, incentive schemes, regular social events, and a collaborative, inclusive working culture. You will also have the freedom to organise your own diary and manage your own progression.
What the role involves
- Build a strong understanding of the business, its market, competitors, and target customers.
- Plan your territory effectively by deciding which prospects and clients to prioritise and when to engage them.
- Maintain regular contact with prospects by phone and in person, developing relationships, addressing concerns, and explaining the company’s offer.
- Roll out marketing and category initiatives across your customer portfolio.
- Track and review sales performance within your assigned region.
- Represent the company professionally at regional and national events while networking to create new business opportunities.
