About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Business Developer to join the Bengaluru team. In the early stage of the role, you will focus on understanding customer needs and matching them with the right talent from the partner network. As you grow in the position, you will also take on new business development responsibilities, including finding, approaching, and onboarding strategic customer accounts while helping the business expand. The role also involves using and continuously improving automation and AI-driven workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the growth of customer accounts and help keep the partner community active and engaged.
  • Develop and nurture a network of outside partners such as freelancers, consulting firms, recruitment agencies, and staffing providers.
  • Make sure customer expectations are matched with suitable provider proposals.
  • Build long-term professional relationships with both partners and customers.
  • Coordinate and follow through on projects that fall within your scope.
  • Handle the financial performance of your assigned profit center.
  • Identify promising new customer opportunities and pursue them proactively.
  • Grow and manage your customer portfolio using outreach channels such as email, phone, social media, and lead generation tools.
  • Introduce the company’s solutions to different audiences and support adoption.
  • Work with the growth team to uncover cross-selling opportunities within your portfolio.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s or master’s degree from a business school, engineering school, or university, and is eager to develop in a scale-up environment. Prior experience in business development is important, along with a strong interest in B2B prospecting. You should be comfortable working with autonomy while also enjoying team collaboration. Strong English skills are required, and knowledge of another language is an advantage. Experience in technology, software publishing, or international environments is considered a strong plus.
