About the Role

ESFM is hiring a Janitor for a full-time and part-time opening in Jacksonville, Florida. The job is based at MDT, 6743 Southpoint Drive N, Jacksonville, FL 32216. Applications are accepted online only.

Schedule

This position offers both full-time and part-time shifts. Weekend hours are 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, and additional schedule details will be shared during the interview.

Pay

The pay range is $17.00 to $18.00 per hour.

What You'll Do

You will be responsible for keeping assigned buildings clean, orderly, and sanitary. The role includes heavy cleaning work such as floor care, rug shampooing, wall and glass cleaning, and trash removal.

Daily work includes collecting and disposing of waste according to approved procedures and infection control plans, dusting and damp mopping floors, moving furniture and equipment for cleaning, sanitizing surfaces, and following the eight-step cleaning process. You will also wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other surfaces to help maintain a safe and presentable environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Additional duties include identifying areas that need cleaning without waiting to be told, completing assignments from the supervisor, following federal, state, and county guidelines, stripping and refinishing floors, scrubbing and buffing floors, shampooing carpets, working well with the team, and maintaining professionalism with customers, coworkers, and others. Other related tasks may also be assigned.
