Vivid Adapt is an expanding international technology business with operations in more than 6 countries, and it is hiring a proactive IT Administrator for its Dubai office. The position is designed for someone who takes ownership, spots issues early, and helps build a secure, dependable technology foundation that supports global growth.

Core responsibilities

• Manage the local IT environment in Dubai with a focus on reliability, security, and performance so it can support international operations effectively.
• Continuously monitor systems and infrastructure to detect weaknesses, delays, or risks before they affect the business.
• Support the rollout and security reinforcement of AI-based tools while making sure they fit into a stable and protected IT setup.
• Deliver hands-on technical assistance to local users and act as a trusted technology partner rather than only a ticket-based support contact.
• Keep system and process records accurate, clear, and easy to follow in line with global governance standards.
• Coordinate with global IT colleagues to help implement company-wide security practices and share local insights that support expansion across regions.
• Look for ways to streamline and automate manual work so the team can focus on higher-value priorities.

What the company is looking for

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a closely related area, or an equivalent professional certification.
• At least 2 years of experience in IT administration, systems support, or a similar technical position.
• Practical knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration, network setup such as TCP/IP, DNS, and VPNs, and identity management systems.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Microsoft 365, along with basic understanding of security practices including firewalls, endpoint protection, and backup procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting ability with the capability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.
• A proactive attitude with a habit of identifying problems early and bringing solutions forward without waiting to be asked.
• A desire to keep learning, take on more responsibility, and grow alongside a scaling organization.
• Dependability, since IT is central to the company’s operations and consistency is highly valued.
• Comfort working in a diverse, international environment and collaborating across borders with distributed teams.
