Role Overview

The organization is seeking an IBM WebMethods Developer with solid experience in integration and API-based solutions. This is a full-time position available across Persistent locations.

Experience: 4 to 9 years

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, build, and maintain WebMethods implementation work using the WebMethods 10.x product suite.
• Develop application and data integration solutions on the WebMethods platform.
• Create REST APIs, design complex XML schemas, and handle data transformation and mapping.
• Support integrations across databases, flat files, XML, CSV, IDOC, and mainframe systems.
• Set up and manage Developer Portal and API Gateway configurations, including security controls such as OAUTH, SSO, and JWT.
• Work closely with technical and business stakeholders to deliver projects and provide ongoing support.

Required Experience and Skills

• 4 to 9 years of hands-on WebMethods development experience.
• Strong practical knowledge of the WebMethods 10.x suite.
• Experience designing and implementing REST APIs and integrations.
• Good command of XML, data mapping, and multi-format data integration.
• Familiarity with API Gateway, Developer Portal, and authentication/security mechanisms such as OAUTH, SSO, and JWT.
• Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes for WebMethods deployment is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking and collaboration skills.
