Position Overview
We are looking for a seasoned and driven Human Resources Generalist who brings a solid grasp of HR operations, employment regulations, and talent management. In this position, you will act as an important connection point between U.S. business activities and the global headquarters.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle the complete recruitment workflow from posting jobs and sourcing talent to screening, interviewing, selecting candidates, and managing onboarding.
- Work closely with hiring managers to clarify staffing needs and build strong job descriptions and candidate profiles.
- Source applicants proactively through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
- Arrange interviews, collect interviewer feedback, and support hiring decisions.
- Maintain a strong and positive experience for candidates throughout the hiring journey.
- Manage offers, including pay alignment, offer-letter preparation, and negotiation support.
- Monitor recruiting results and prepare reports on metrics such as time-to-fill, pipeline status, and hiring effectiveness.
- Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly HR administrative duties.
- Run new hire orientation and support a smooth onboarding process.
- Administer compensation-related activities such as offer letters, promotions, and salary reviews.
- Oversee employee benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), STD, LTD, FMLA, vacation, and related programs.
- Act as the main site contact for payroll and benefits questions.
- Provide guidance on HR policies and serve as the link between the site and HQ HR.
- Assist with employee relations and support policy interpretation and issue resolution.
- Partner with leadership on succession planning and talent development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local HR requirements.
- Maintain and update HR systems and policies, including performance evaluations and pay structure.
- Prepare reports to satisfy internal and external reporting obligations.
- Support the rollout and governance of talent management systems.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a closely related discipline is required.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in HR is needed.
- Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws is essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
- A high degree of discretion and ability to keep information confidential.
- A service-oriented mindset with strong customer support instincts.
- Prior exposure to HR platforms such as ADP, Oracle ERP, or similar tools is preferred.
- Comfort using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and related office software.
- Bilingual fluency in Korean and English is mandatory.
