About the Property

Role Overview
This full-time, on-site position is based in Doha and focuses on keeping the property’s HVAC and related systems operating smoothly, safely, and efficiently. The technician handles installation, operation, upkeep, and repairs across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, helping maintain a comfortable environment for guests and team members.
Key Duties
- Install, run, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment across the property.
- Inspect mechanical and electrical parts, identify faults, and carry out troubleshooting as needed.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC units and associated building systems.
- Respond promptly to service requests in guest areas, common spaces, and operational zones.
- Work closely with the engineering team to support daily operations and issue resolution.
- Keep clear and accurate maintenance logs and service records.
- Follow safety practices, environmental rules, and hotel standards at all times.
- Contribute to efficient energy use and the reliable operation of all HVAC systems.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should bring hands-on HVAC troubleshooting ability, practical electrical knowledge, and familiarity with plumbing as it relates to heating and cooling systems. Experience with planned maintenance programs and building engineering systems is important. Knowledge of EPA-related requirements and safe refrigerant handling is expected. A technical certificate or diploma in HVAC, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering is required, and extra trade licensing is considered an advantage. Prior work as an HVAC or maintenance technician, preferably in hospitality or commercial environments, is preferred. The role also requires shift flexibility, emergency response readiness, and the ability to complete physically demanding work safely. Strong communication, adherence to hotel standards, and a guest-first mindset are essential.
