Role overview
H2 Performance Consulting is hiring an Assistant to deliver administrative and operational support for research, clinical, and public health work tied to the Department of Defense auditory health mission. The position focuses on keeping daily program activities organized and running efficiently through strong coordination, documentation, and communication support.
The role involves working closely with research staff, clinicians, Government stakeholders, and technical teams to help manage schedules, records, logistics, and meeting preparation. It also requires careful handling of sensitive information and compliance with Government procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative and operational assistance for research and public health program efforts.
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and coordinate logistics.
- Create, organize, update, and file documents, trackers, forms, reports, and program records.
- Enter data accurately, perform basic quality checks, and help maintain study or program databases.
- Coordinate participant-related activities, study operations, training events, site visits, and clinical initiatives.
- Support travel arrangements, conference logistics, and other Government-approved coordination needs.
- Facilitate communication between internal team members, Government contacts, clinicians, researchers, and technical personnel.
- Keep documentation orderly and aligned with Government and program standards.
- Complete required training and follow procedures for safeguarding PII and PHI.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in administrative support.
- Strong skills in organization, written communication, and customer service.
- Hands-on experience with document preparation, record keeping, calendar coordination, and team support.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work on your own and manage several priorities at once.
- Willingness and ability to complete required Government training, including cybersecurity and HIPAA-related training.
Preferred background
- Experience in DoD, Government contracting, healthcare, clinical research, public health, or military medicine settings.
- Background supporting distributed or geographically separated teams.
- Familiarity with HIPAA, PII, PHI, or healthcare administrative workflows.
- Experience with research coordination, participant scheduling, or program documentation.
