The Opportunity

Fullscript has grown into a platform that supports every part of care, and the Design team has expanded with it. The organization is already delivering strong work across the product, and the next step is to turn that work into a unified, category-leading experience while building the design function for the company’s next phase of growth.

This role offers a broad canvas. You will define how design operates at Fullscript, including the structure, standards, and strategy that connect every product line. You will also own the end-to-end experience that practitioners and patients move through, ensuring the platform feels like one connected system rather than separate products.

This is a leadership position where the main impact comes from creating scale across the organization instead of handling everyday production work. At the same time, Fullscript values leaders who remain close to the craft. The right person will set a high quality standard, offer direct critique, and step into an artboard when needed to solve problems that span multiple teams. You will work as a peer within the product leadership group and serve as a strategic partner to the broader leadership team, including the CPO and CEO.

What You’ll Do

• Create the plan for scaling design across Fullscript, including the frameworks, systems, and working models that help the team grow effectively with the platform.
• Design the operating model for the function by setting processes, standards, rituals, and AI-supported workflows that improve both quality and speed while making excellence repeatable.
• Define and uphold the company’s design bar, help the team grow its craft, and support designer development while ensuring the quality of shipped work remains consistently high.
• Lead cross-product experience strategy, oversee design governance, and shape how products connect so users experience a single cohesive ecosystem.
• Guide role expectations, career growth, talent development, collaboration approaches, and team culture across product lines.
• Act as a senior design voice at the leadership table by challenging assumptions, advocating for the customer experience, and influencing executive decisions.

What You Bring

• Experience building and scaling design organizations, along with clear viewpoints on design operations, team workflows, AI-enabled design processes, design systems, and future-state design org models.
• Background leading multi-product work within large platform ecosystems and complex user journeys, especially at the points where products intersect.
• Strong executive presence and the ability to influence senior leaders, push back when needed, and act as a strategic partner in leadership discussions.
• An AI-forward mindset and a demonstrated ability to operate at scale.
