Role Overview
A rapidly growing, well-capitalised investment-focused business is looking for a Group Financial Controller to join its senior leadership group in Dublin. This position carries significant influence and offers exposure to a wide range of sectors within an energetic, fast-moving setting.
Reporting to the CFO, you will take ownership of group reporting, compliance, treasury, and financial analysis at a strategic level, while also contributing to major investment and commercial choices.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare consolidated group financial reporting and monthly management accounts.
- Ensure statutory obligations, audit activity, and regulatory standards are properly managed.
- Handle treasury processes, cash forecasting, and banking partner relationships.
- Work with external tax advisers to coordinate tax compliance.
- Support mergers, disposals, and other strategic investment decisions.
- Improve finance systems, introduce automation, and streamline processes.
- Lead, coach, and develop the finance team.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders across a multi-entity business structure.
Candidate Profile
- Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
- Extensive experience in a senior finance leadership position.
- Strong expertise in group consolidation and multi-entity reporting environments.
- Commercially minded with excellent analytical ability and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in investment-led, asset-heavy, or similarly complex organisations is a plus.
- Comfortable performing in a high-pressure, transaction-led environment.
