Role overview
This position is for a Groundworker based in the East Midlands area. The job offers a salary of £31,270 to £32,916 and involves a 40-hour working week scheduled between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm.
Experience and trade background
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a social housing or local authority setting. A relevant NVQ Level 2 qualification, or equivalent hands-on trade experience, is needed for this role.
Core trade duties
The work includes a range of general groundworks and repair tasks, such as paving, concreting, drainage work, fencing, brickwork, pointing, repairs, and installation work, along with similar duties as required.
Driving requirements
A full UK manual driving licence is essential, and the role requires at least one year of substantial driving experience. A company van will be provided for use during working hours. Please note that an employment offer may be withdrawn if the organisation cannot obtain acceptable insurance cover under its fleet policy.

Checks and compliance
