Descrizione del lavoro

Role overview

This graduate opportunity sits within the Projects Delivery team and is designed for someone who wants to build practical experience in project coordination within a manufacturing setting. The role supports the planning, organisation, and execution of production and engineering initiatives across the facility, while working alongside mechanical, electrical, and production colleagues to keep delivery on track.

It is well suited to a recent graduate in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or General Engineering who is keen to develop hands-on expertise in a fast-moving environment.

Project delivery and coordination

  • Help plan and deliver engineering and production-related projects.
  • Build, maintain, and update schedules, timelines, and progress trackers.
  • Work with mechanical, electrical, and production teams to keep project requirements aligned.
  • Track project status and flag risks, delays, or other delivery issues.

Production planning

  • Assist in creating and revising production schedules.
  • Review workflow, capacity, and resource needs.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement work aimed at increasing production efficiency.

Technical support

  • Support engineering teams with mechanical and electrical elements used in production.
  • Review technical drawings, specifications, and related documents.
  • Assist with equipment installation, commissioning, and process improvement activities when needed.

Documentation and reporting

  • Prepare project documents, reports, and internal status updates.
  • Keep accurate records of activities, changes, and approvals.
  • Help ensure work follows quality, safety, and engineering standards.

Cross-functional working

  • Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams.
  • Take part in project meetings and problem-solving discussions.
  • Support communication between departments so projects move forward smoothly.

Skills and profile

The role calls for strong organisation, scheduling ability, and analytical thinking. You should be comfortable interpreting engineering drawings and technical documentation, communicating clearly, and working well in a team. Good MS Excel skills are important, and familiarity with scheduling software would be an advantage. An interest in mechanical and electrical systems in a manufacturing environment is also key, along with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-led workplace.

Qualifications

A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a similar discipline is required. Applicants should be recent graduates or have up to 1 year of experience, including internships or placements.
