Descrizione del lavoro

Role overview

As a Site GPS Practitioner, you will be part of the site leadership environment and report to the Site GPS Lead. Your purpose is to help deploy and embed the GSK Production System so the site strategy is converted into measurable gains in safety, quality, service, and cost. The role focuses on simplifying and standardising how work gets done, and on helping the site move toward zero accidents, zero defects, and zero waste.

Key responsibilities

  • Convert the site strategy and GPS principles into practical, repeatable, and sustainable ways of working across site operations.
  • Use GPS maturity assessments to understand the current state, spot capability gaps, and support action planning to close them.
  • Strengthen GPS capability across the site by helping build performance management systems, developing Lean Six Sigma capability, improving continuous improvement and problem-solving skills, and reducing waste.
  • Partner with site leadership to translate business objectives into year-on-year improvement plans, while keeping delivery aligned to IPT-C priorities of innovation, performance, trust, and culture.
  • Coach and train teams on GPS standards, tools, and operating methods, and facilitate kaizen and problem-solving activities that help teams sustain improvements independently.
  • Run and maintain performance management routines to track target achievement, ensure strong governance and review cadence, and trigger corrective actions when needed.
  • Use data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, and similar platforms to spot trends, find improvement opportunities, and support better decision-making.
  • Collaborate with site and Tech teams to align goals and roadmaps, including support for automation, digital data, and analytics initiatives.
  • Support regional GPS teams when the site requires turnaround support or faster GPS deployment.
  • Assist value streams with production planning, process improvement, and inventory management by applying GPS methods and data-led insights to improve service and reduce waste.
  • Help develop strong leaders and teams by demonstrating GPS and CI behaviours and embedding those behaviours into daily management routines.
  • Drive change across all levels of the site so that GPS and the GSC X-matrix remain central to prioritisation and execution.
  • Enable, coach, and guide colleagues so they can build the skills and confidence needed to own and sustain change in their areas.

Education, experience, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Pharmacy, Science, or a related discipline.
  • Professional exposure in Industrial Engineering, Operations, or Supply Chain.
  • Lean or Six Sigma certification such as Yellow Belt or Green Belt is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical ability with hands-on experience using Excel, Power BI, and comparable tools.
  • Working knowledge of EHS and GMP principles used in production environments.
  • Background in manufacturing or supply chain operations, with exposure to continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, or operational excellence.
  • Ability to break down processes, work confidently with data, and turn analysis into practical actions.
  • Strong communication, influencing, and coaching capabilities, including the ability to facilitate workshops and engage stakeholders at different levels.
  • Experience with digital or automation projects in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
