Descrizione del lavoro
Role overview
This onsite position in East Galway is for a hands-on communications leader who will build the global structure, standards, and operating model for company-wide communications. The role is centered on setting the framework, governance, and enablement that help regional teams communicate effectively and in a timely way. It is not responsible for running market-specific field communications day to day.
The successful candidate will act as the central owner of global communication standards, message control, and delivery frameworks, while also leading internal global communications and CEO-level messaging. The role additionally oversees global PR and influencer/athlete initiatives, with a focus on alignment, accountability, and measurable business impact.
Global communications leadership
Own internal global communications across corporate updates, leadership messages, and organizational announcements. Draft and send CEO-level communications for both field and internal audiences. Ensure regional communications remain the responsibility of local teams, while establishing clear ownership boundaries between global and regional functions.
Strategy, governance, and toolkits
Design and implement a global communications model covering channels, frequency, hierarchy, and ownership. Put in place SOPs, approval workflows, and governance rules for all communication activity. Define a clear RASCI-based split between global and regional responsibilities to prevent duplication and confusion. Create templates, playbooks, and practical toolkits that support consistent regional execution and a unified global standard.
Message adaptation and distribution
Convert global campaigns, product launches, and company initiatives into structured communication assets that are easy for regional teams to deploy. Maintain consistency in tone, voice, clarity, and priority across all messages. Manage recurring communication streams such as weekly updates and newsletters that are executed by regions, while keeping the cadence organized and purposeful.
PR, awards, and external reputation
Lead global PR strategy and manage agency partnerships across both global and regional markets. Assess, appoint, and oversee agencies with a strong focus on performance, reporting, and return on investment. Develop and run a global awards and recognition plan. Make sure PR activity supports brand positioning and commercial goals, rather than awareness alone, and hold external partners accountable through clear KPIs.
Influencer and athlete programs
Own the global influencer and athlete framework, including program structure, governance, and selection standards. Work with regional teams to allow local delivery within the global model. Ensure all activity remains compliant, on-brand, and commercially relevant. Measure performance and report on results at both global and regional levels.
Podcast and content ecosystem
Help shape the LifeWave podcast into a more strategic communications channel. Manage the content calendar and coordinate with Marketing Operations on production, guest coordination, and contracts. Support the creation of landing pages and content hubs, and integrate podcast material into wider communication workflows. Track engagement and contribute to performance reporting.
Reporting, optimization, and collaboration
Prepare monthly global reports covering communications effectiveness, PR outcomes and ROI, and influencer/athlete program performance. Use insights to continually improve messaging, structure, and cadence. Work closely with colleagues across multiple time zones, including occasional evening meetings where reasonable accommodations are needed to support collaboration.
Additional responsibilities and conditions
The role also requires completion of all company training, adherence to established policies and procedures, and performance of other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related discipline. The role calls for 5-6+ years of experience in communications, content, or marketing, along with experience across multi-channel communications. Candidates should have a strong track record in building and governing global communications frameworks, as well as managing PR agencies and influencer programs with measurable results.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to simplify complex information are essential. Experience with content ecosystems such as email and content hubs is needed. The role requires someone who is comfortable handling day-to-day communication execution, fluent in English, and capable of adapting to shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change.
Work style
This position suits someone who is highly accountable, execution-focused, and comfortable balancing structure with active delivery.
