About the Role

Waterline Resources Inc. is seeking a dedicated Geological Technician to join our team in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. This full-time, onsite position involves a variety of tasks related to geological surveys, data collection, and analysis. The role requires working in diverse environments, including urban, rural, and remote locations, both outdoors and on land.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in and conduct comprehensive environmental audits.
  • Execute geological, geophysical, geochemical, hydrographic, or oceanographic surveys.
  • Participate in prospecting field trips, exploratory drilling, well logging, and underground mine survey programs.
  • Direct and conduct various surveys and survey programs.
  • Maintain filing and record systems through clerical duties.
  • Perform physical and chemical laboratory tests.
  • Create detailed notes, sketches, geological maps, and cross-sections.
  • Support hydrogeological field and laboratory studies.

Requirements

  • Possession of a Bachelor's degree.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to perform repetitive tasks and demonstrate attention to detail.
  • Comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
  • Must possess steel-toed safety boots.
