General Physician (Dukhan)

Role summary

The General Physician will act as the Healthcare Department’s on-site representative for public health and wellness matters. This position is focused on supporting and improving the health and wellness services provided to QatarEnergy employees across all HCD clinics in Dukhan.

Primary responsibilities

• Represent the Healthcare Department in matters related to public health and wellness.
• Oversee the delivery of public health and wellness services for QatarEnergy employees across all HCD clinics.

Experience and professional requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience after medical qualification is required.
• At least 5 years of experience working as a physician in an industrial or public health environment is preferred.
• The candidate must be able to secure and keep a valid Medical Physician license in Qatar.
• An internationally recognized postgraduate diploma, or a higher qualification, in Occupational Health, Healthcare Management, Health Education, or Public Health is required.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
• Immediate Life Support (ILS) or Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification is required.
• Strong computer skills are necessary for this role.

Educational qualifications

• A recognized medical degree of at least 5 years, such as MBBS, MBChB, or an equivalent qualification, is essential.

This role is based in Dukhan, Al Shahaniya, Qatar, and is a full-time, on-site position.
