Role Overview

This position is for a Gen AI Engineer based in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. It is a full-time onsite role within TCS MEA.

Technical Skills Needed

  • Hands-on experience in video analytics, including object detection, tracking, segmentation, and scene interpretation.
  • Exposure to edge deployment, GPU tuning, and model compression/quantization for low-latency use cases.
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD workflows and MLOps methods for vision-based systems.
  • Experience handling large vision datasets along with annotation and curation tools.
  • Strong programming ability in Python, with practical use of PyTorch, TensorFlow, or PaddlePaddle.
  • Experience training, adapting, and deploying YOLO-based models.
  • Understanding of CNNs, auto-encoders, and vision-language models for both image and video tasks.
  • Experience with OCR frameworks such as PaddleOCR for detecting and recognizing text in images and video frames.
  • Practical knowledge of NVIDIA DeepStream SDK for multi-stream processing and accelerated inference.
  • Familiarity with annotation platforms such as Label Studio or CVAT, including dataset cleanup and label management.
  • Ability to create and deploy microservices using FastAPI and Docker.
  • Solid grasp of preprocessing, augmentation, and end-to-end pipeline design for computer vision workloads.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, refine, and launch computer vision solutions that can process several live camera streams at once.
  • Develop efficient deep learning pipelines using CNNs, YOLO, auto-encoders, vision-language models, and OCR technologies.
  • Train and tune YOLO, VLM, and OCR models such as PaddleOCR for image and video understanding tasks, including text extraction and recognition.
  • Work with data engineering teams to set up annotation workflows and prepare large datasets for model training.
  • Use Label Studio or CVAT to manage annotation activities and maintain high-quality labeled data.
  • Deploy models in scalable production environments through NVIDIA DeepStream, Docker, and microservices-based architectures.
  • Create APIs and backend components with FastAPI to support model inference and system integration.
  • Improve model quality continuously through testing, experiments, evaluations, and iterative feedback.
  • Support documentation, scaling, and ongoing maintenance of vision systems in production.
