Full Stack Software Engineer

Role overview

Proe AI is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer to strengthen its engineering team in Sydney, Australia. The role works closely with CTO Alex Morton and involves building and expanding the Proe platform, an AI-driven CRM designed for real estate agents throughout Australia.

This is a high-ownership position at an early-stage company, where your contributions will have immediate visibility and impact.

What you will do

• Develop and support end-to-end product features, spanning polished user interfaces and dependable backend APIs.
• Work side by side with the CTO to turn business needs into scalable technical implementations.
• Produce maintainable, testable code and take part in technical architecture choices.
• Contribute to the creation of engineering processes, standards, and best practices as the team expands.

What the company is looking for

• At least 2 years of professional experience in software engineering.
• A strong full-stack profile with a backend-oriented approach.
• Hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially AWS.
• Exposure to building or integrating AI-based systems.
• Ability to operate effectively in fast-moving and uncertain environments.
• Strong interest in artificial intelligence and property technology.
