Role Overview

West Wind is looking for a fresh graduate or early-career professional to join the data analytics team in a full-time, on-site role based in Australia. This position is designed for someone who wants to build a career in data analysis and business intelligence while developing practical experience in a professional setting.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will work with raw data and help turn it into useful insights that support business decisions. You will be involved in preparing data, analyzing information, and sharing findings in a clear format for stakeholders.

• Gather data from different sources and make sure it is properly organized.
• Clean, check, and verify data to maintain accuracy and consistency.
• Review datasets to spot trends, patterns, and possible areas for improvement.
• Build reports, dashboards, and visual summaries for business users.
• Track key performance indicators and help maintain data quality standards.
• Support ongoing analytics work and contribute to data-related projects.
• Coordinate with teams across the business to understand requirements and suggest data-backed recommendations.

Skills and Background

The right candidate should be analytical, careful with details, and eager to learn. Good communication and organization skills are important, along with the ability to work well with different teams.

Excel proficiency is required. Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Google Sheets, or similar analytics tools will be an added advantage. Familiarity with statistics, visual reporting, database basics, and standard reporting methods is helpful, though not mandatory.
