Forklift Operator

Role Overview

Zahr Freighters is hiring a careful and dependable Forklift Operator to support warehouse and logistics activities in Dubai. This position suits someone with hands-on forklift experience who can move materials safely, keep operations flowing, and work effectively in a busy freight environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Use forklifts to load, unload, move, and stack cargo in a safe and efficient manner.
• Transport materials and products across warehouse and storage areas as needed.
• Check the forklift before and after use to confirm it is in proper working condition.
• Report any mechanical issues, maintenance needs, or safety-related concerns without delay.
• Support the receiving, storage, and dispatch of inventory.
• Handle goods carefully to reduce the risk of damage during movement and storage.
• Work in line with warehouse procedures, safety rules, and company guidelines.
• Keep accurate records of material movement and equipment usage.
• Assist warehouse colleagues with general logistics and material-handling tasks when required.

Requirements

• High school education or an equivalent qualification.
• Valid forklift operator certification or license.
• At least 2 years of forklift operating experience in a warehouse, logistics, or freight setting.
• Solid understanding of warehouse processes and safety practices.
• Ability to lift and move materials when needed.
• Strong focus on detail and safe working practices.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
