Role overview
This position is focused on the site-level operation of construction plant and machinery, with responsibility for keeping equipment movement, deployment, and day-to-day utilization running smoothly. The role supports project execution by making sure machines and operators are available when needed and that all operations are carried out safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily plant and machinery activities at the project site to keep equipment ready for construction work as per schedule.
- Assign operators and allocate machines according to site needs and project timelines.
- Make sure machinery is used in line with safe work practices and standard operating procedures.
- Track and record machine running hours, fuel consumption, and equipment movement within the site.
