Financial Planning Analyst

About the Role

We are hiring a detail-oriented Financial Planning & Modeling Analyst to support the Finance function within a confidential government environment in Riyadh. The role focuses on building and maintaining financial models, assessing project feasibility, preparing budgets and forecasts, and contributing to investment decisions for major real estate and development initiatives.

You will collaborate with Finance, Development, Investments, Treasury, Asset Management, and Executive Management to produce financial analysis and insights that strengthen strategic growth and long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, refine, and update financial models for real estate development projects.
• Prepare feasibility assessments and investment appraisal materials for projects.
• Carry out discounted cash flow valuations, scenario reviews, and sensitivity analysis.
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning activities.
• Examine project cash flows, profitability, and funding needs.
• Develop management reports, dashboards, and presentation materials for leadership.
• Assist with analysis related to investments, acquisitions, and asset performance.
• Contribute to treasury planning, financing activities, and lender reporting.
• Use ERP platforms and Power BI to enhance reporting quality and analytical insight.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Financial Engineering, or another closely related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, financial modeling, investment analysis, or real estate finance.
• Solid hands-on experience in modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and feasibility analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in real estate development, construction, REITs, investment firms, or private equity real estate.
• Understanding of the Saudi real estate market.
• Professional credentials such as CFA, CMA, ACCA, CPA, SOCPA, or FMVA are an added advantage.
• Experience using Power BI and financial reporting tools.
