Role Overview
Reporting directly to the General Manager, this position is responsible for running the company’s finance function end to end. The role calls for strong financial control, reliable reporting, and full adherence to Saudi regulatory requirements. You will also supervise a small accounting team and collaborate with senior leaders to improve business performance and support decision-making.
What You Will Do
- Oversee daily finance and accounting activities.
- Handle month-end and year-end closing cycles.
- Prepare accurate and timely management accounts along with financial statements and reports.
- Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and ensure the general ledger remains accurate.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury-related tasks.
- Track receivables, collection efforts, and payment approvals.
- Ensure adherence to VAT, ZATCA, and all required statutory filings and reports.
- Compile financial data and documentation for auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and broader financial planning.
- Strengthen internal controls and governance procedures.
- Guide, support, and develop members of the finance team.
- Work with business leaders to provide commercial and financial insight.
- Assist with additional finance and operational projects as needed.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a seasoned finance professional who brings deep accounting knowledge, strong commercial understanding, and proven leadership capability.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field.
- A professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CPA, CA, or CIMA is preferred.
- Solid knowledge of Saudi accounting rules, VAT, and ZATCA requirements.
- Hands-on experience in financial reporting, budgeting, treasury, and working capital management.
- Prior exposure to audits and statutory reporting processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Background in an international or multinational organization.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities.
