About the Role

What You’ll Do

  • Follow safe working practices at the site and maintain a strong focus on safety.
  • Coordinate daily testing and commissioning work with the customer, while staying in close contact with the Field Supervisor.
  • Check the unit against applicable codes and standards so it is mechanically and electrically safe, meets KONE’s internal and external quality expectations, and operates as required by the contract.
  • Commission equipment in line with the agreed specifications and commissioning guidelines.
  • Complete the final inspection and sign off the related inspection paperwork.
  • Take part in inspections conducted by notified bodies or consultants, and support customer handover when needed.
  • Spot installation quality problems and deviations that need corrective action, then report them to the Field Supervisor, who oversees all site activity.
  • Contribute to quality improvement groups by using snag lists, raising technical observations from inspections, and sharing useful information.
  • Use lean methods to reduce work interruptions and support huddles initiatives consistently.

Requirements

  • A diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in the elevator industry, which is mandatory.
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Basic IT knowledge is preferred.
  • A strong digital background is highly valued.
